DC Asian Pacific American Film was established to be the beacon of creative output of Asian and Asian American media arts through community outreach.The mission of the DC APA Film Festival is to bring attention to the creative output from APA communities and encourage the artistic development of APA films, media, and creative output in the greater Washington DC metropolitan region as well as the across the country.

Description
DC APA Film Festival is launching a new kind of acting social for aspiring actors and skilled actors alike. Come out and support DC Asian Pacific American Film Festival; try out some lines on camera and network with other local actors and filmmakers. For the camera shy, closeted actors come see what it’s like being front of a camera and try a few lines or two. We’ll have scenes from hit movies for you or some friends to read from. If you already have experience, it’s a great opportunity to try out your monologue over our professional lit green-screen backdrop. A digital copy of your performance is also available.
